there are two type of ct in field,
1,protection CT
2,metering CT
protection CT; only for protect the equipment used to
relay based.
metering CT : this is only for showing the current in
ammeter .
In different type of class in CT 5p10,5p20 And ps it is
used for protection purpose only ,
5-acurancy class.
p- protection
10-10% error.
20-20% error.
ps class:it is calculate to the knee point voltage.
