1. Given v= 415v
kw= 3w
formula = w=v*v/R
3000=415*415/R
R=172225/3000
R=57ohm
I=v/R
I=415/57=7.28amp
2. given v=380volt , kw=3
R=380*380/3
R=48.133
I=V/R
=380/48.133
=7.8 amp

I have made a 3 phase thyristor full bridge rectifier. But at the moment it is working only for the half bridge operation. Both the half bridges are on operation separately but when i put it into full bridge operation the oscilloscope output is zero. What is the need of earthing transformer for delta side of a transformer. (Think of a line section between a star/delta transformer at a grid substation and delta/star transformer at a village. An earthing transformer is there at the delta side of the star/delta transformer at grid substation). As there are no ground reference there will not be fault current if a one phase is grounded. Further L-L phase will be sensed by the primary side of star/delta transformer as a L-G fault. So why an earthing transformer is required at delta side
