The number of cycle completed in one second ia called
frequency (f). The unit of frequency is hertz (Hz).
1Hz = 1cycle per second.
In the power system frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz are used.
In communication system frequencies up to millions of hertz
are used. So the multiple (KHz), (MHz),and (GHz) are used.
