what is the difference between long term debt and short
term debt?

short term debt is a debt which is payable within a year.

long term debt is a debt which is payable beyound one year.
but short and long term debt will also depend on the type
of the organization.e.g taking an organization like ghana a
debt for 5 years is considered short term.
