In Nominal Mixes proportion og ingredients for a particular
grade of concrete is fixed for eg. M10 proportion is 1:4:8
Where as in design mix for a particular concrete we decide
proprtion on varios parameters like water cement ration
size of aggregat workablity etc. Trial mixes are taken and
check for there stregnth. For low grade concrete,nominal
and less important work we prefer nominal mixes
