what is synchronous speed.? if an induction motor is made
to run at full load, then is this synch. speed too..?
Answer Posted / varun
the machine whose rotor's speed is equal to the speed of
rotation of stator's magnetic field, is called a synch.
motor,,,thus corresponding is the speed.
in an induction motor...
Nr=Ns(1-s)
Nr=speed of rotor
Ns=synchronous speed
s=slip
in synchronous motor s=0.
