how the magnetic flux is said to be rotating & alternating?
Answer Posted / rahul
When a net rotational torque is produced, the field is said
to be rotating (Eg> for a 3ph supply given to an
alternator.)
WHen no net rotational torque is produced due to the fact
that Fwd and Bwd torques are Equeal and Opp.,(Eg: in case
of a single phase(not split phase) supply given to a single
phase motor), then magn field is pulsating.
