What’s the difference between forward lookup and reverse
lookup in DNS?
Answer Posted / krushna
Forward lookup zone is used to resolve hostname to ip
resolution.eg when we type googl.com in webbrowser, it will
search the same in dns server and get ip for gogle.com then
it will conncect to google.com.
Reverse lookupzone is used to resolve from ip address to
hostname.Just reverse of forwardlookup zone.
thanks
