Can we also write test cases in test director instead of
excel or word if yes, how?

We can create Test case in TD by the following way-
1. Create a subject folder or select an already existing Subject Folder (ABC) in Test Plan Tree.
2. Select the subject folder ABC and click the New Test Button. On doing this Create new Test dialog box opens.
3. Fill the required field in the box and click OK.
4. Again another Required Field dialog box opens where you have to provide the required info. Click Ok.
Now the Test XYZ is added under the ABC folder.
5. If you to create Test steps then select the XYZ test and click Design Steps tab.
6.Then Design Test editor opens where you can design the test steps.
Hope this answers your question.
