How do we calculate tranmission line losses of a 132 KV
tranmsission line. Please give some quick tips?
Answer Posted / gurucharan singh
Actually, there are various stages for transmission. Like
from generation to power transfro. & transm. line upto step
down transfro. its gerenally 20 to 25 kms length is about
3.5% to 6% of losses of actual power to be transmitted
depends up on design of line.
Then for inter-state & state internal losses for power are
different. this total sum can be in range of 12% to 16% of
power transmitted.
