Defect life cycle is also called as bug life cycle. It has 6
stages namely
1.new: found new bug
2.assigned: bud assigned to developer
3.open : developer is fixing the bug
4.fixed : developer has fixed the bug
5.retest: tester retests the application
6.closed/reopened: if it is ok tester gives closed staus
