in india why we not use frequency above 50 hz for
distrubuting power ?
Answer Posted / aamod tripathi
FIRST OF ALL THERE SHOULD BE A STANDARD FOR THE SUPPLY
AVAILABLE SO THAT THE MANUFACTURERS AND OTHER ALLIED
SERVICES CAN DESIGN THERE EQUIPMENTS AS PER THE STANDARD
IN INDIA (A DEVELOPING COUNTRY) IF SUPPOSE THE FIRST ERA
HAD A POWER GENERATION AT 50 HZ OF SUPPLY. SO THE NEXT
SETUPS WHICH CAME LATER ALSO CAME UP WITH 50HZ OF SUPPLY
SYSTEM SO AS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM.
