What was the toughest job challenge you faced and how did
you deal with it?

I worked with a woman who hired me and was to be my mentor.
After a very short time in my new job, it seemed like
finding fault was her only mentoring capability. As time
went on I thought that asking her advice about different
work related tasks and issues would make her feel better
about herself and better about me, but it turned out that I
had unwittingly handed her the bullets to an unloaded gun.
Well, it came to pass that several people were let go for
economic reasons and me being only eight months in, I was on
the list. While I was sad to go, I handled it with grace. I
recently came to learn that she was given double the usual
workload because her co-worker in the ops department was let
go and now I hear she struggles to keep up and I know her
days are numbered. I handled the challenge presented to me
as a tireless worker, someone with integrity and grace and I
know I left that impression on everyone else that worked
with her and with me. She looked like a bi*** to everyone
before I left and is even more of one according to my
contacts there.
