in trains i have seen the terminal which is connected at
the top of the train is positive .where is negative ?
track? i dont think so

Dear Ramniveth,
For ur kind information, in a AC transmission line one is
phase and one is nutral so when we connct both current
flows from phase to nutral, hence it completes a path for
current to flow. As same consideration in Train transmission
lines, the above line provided is a phase now we need a
nutral to collect the current from phase and to make that
path complete . So here we r using the rail track as nutral
hence the current flows to the track and than to earth which
makes a complete path for current to flow. i think ur
question might be having ans now.
