How to calculate india GDP growth rate?

Answer Posted / girija nimgaonkar

((GDP 2003/GDP 2002)-1)*100 WILL GIVE YOU THE PERCENTAGE
GROWTH IN GDP IN YEAR 2003 OVER AND ABOVE THAT IN YEAR 2002
E.G. GDP -2003 2002
1430548 1318362

GDP GROWTH= ((1430548/1318362)-1)*100=8.51
MOST OF THE METHODS DISCUSSED ABOVE CALCULATE GDP AND NOT
