Why 4 pole generator generates more power and 6 pole
generates less power campare to 4 pole

I think no of poles dos not have any influence on the power
generated by the alternator.
power generated by the machine purely depends upon the
rating for which it is designed for......
ie.. for the same output power rating the generator can be
designed for any no of poles provided if the prime mover
spedd can be matched for the desired frequency
