How will you find mac address for a given ip address in a
switch.I need command(Dont give me ARP process)

Answer Posted / ramesh gattu

For cisco switch without using arp we can find the mac
address entry by typing

Switch# show mac-address-table

this command will show vlan no, mac address, port type, port no.

If you are in client machine type

>ipconfig /all will show the mac address of your client system.
