what is interlocing and what is the purpose of this?
Answer Posted / sukhvinder
adopting interlocking means safety during any type of
operation for example in electrical substations it is must.
in substations operation of isolators, earth switches and
circuit breakers interlocking is provided. when you charge
the line/ict we have to ist open the earth swch then close
isolators and in last circuit breakers to be close. if you
did not open the e/s or not close the isolator cb will not
close due this interlocking.
