What is Alpha and Beta Testing?
Answer Posted / deepu
Alpha Testing:
Done at the developer's site by the real customer, where the developer "looks over the shoulder" and notes the errors.
Beta Testing:
Done by one or more end-users of the software at customer's place. And if there are any changes to be made, they will be informed to the developers at regular intervals and will be implemented in the next version of release.
