How many testcases should be there in one project or one
requirment? How many test case have you wrote in your last
project?
Answer Posted / ronh
A "Project" can have hundreds of test cases, depending upon
the number of "requirements" that the Business Analyst
defines in the Design and Detailed Design Specifications.
For each requirement in the specifications at least 1 test
case (and possibly more) are written to test the specific
requirement within the application program. Each test case
is reviewed by the Business Analyst to verify that the test
case will actually test the requirement and will receive
approval for use (by the BA) prior to using it to test the
application requirement.
