what is the relationship between cop and hp(horse power) of
compressor?
Answer Posted / prakash suhane
COP is the coefficient of performence of any compressor,
Used to calculate no of T.R genenarated in per unit of
electricity. Basically COP gives the efficiency of
compressor or chiller.
H.P is horse power determine the capacity of compressor/
chiller. Usually capacity of compressor is measured in Tons
of Refergeration (T.R)
1T.R = 3.53 K.watt.
