Explain the working principle of Synchronous Generator and
Assynchronous generator?
Answer Posted / onkar singh
i think a synchronous motor is based on the same principle
as separetely excited dc motor, the only difference is that
its rotor or magnetic field rotates by the speed of 120f/p
with the help of a pony motor. in influence of the magnetic
field of rotor, stator or shaft rotates or comes in
working.also an asynchronous motor is nothing but an
induction generator but working in negative slip region.
