it is also termed as mass density and defined as mass per
unit volume . To calculate it we need to measure the mass
as well as volume of a sample.....if we talk about the bulk
density of a rock then total mass is the sum of mass of
solid + mass of void present and volume can be calculatedin
regular shaped cylinders by measuring its dimention(
diameter and length using vernier and do simple calculation
(pi*r*r*h)
