What is meant by transformer, why it should be used, with
out that equipment what happens if we transformed the
supply?

Answer Posted / daoud

There are so much types of transformer, I believe that your
question is for power transformer as I understand so,
P=V*i
where P is a power ,V is a voltage &i is a current.
A collision of the partial of electron with the partial
material of cable produce a heat and at the end a fire.
so the current is a huge of electron then if we try to
transport a current for along distances we will face a big
problem, we need for that a very big size diameter of
cable to solve this problem and it is very expensive.
then we can reduce a value of current to minimum and
increase the value of voltage to maximum, how it is by
using Power Transformer.
