When external force acts on abody an internal resistive
forces set up in the body to resist the diformatlon. The
ratio of this resistive forces to the area subjected to
that foces is defined as stess.
The term stress is related to solids only.
Where as in fluids the molecules ars not compactly placed
as solides thats why whenever forces act on fluid they
vibrates and try to escape. the ratio of this force to the
area under that force is the pressure.
