This error is caused because of improper arguments to mount NFS.

If you are following RAC installation steps from
www.oracle-base.com, do the following

edit /etc/fstab

nas1:/share1 /u01 nfs
rw,hard,wsize=32768,rsize=32768,timeo=300,actimeo=0 0 0

with the above arguments entered in fstab should surely
solve the problem.
