The purpose of a test strategy is to clarify
the major tasks and challenges of the test
project.
Inputs : 1.A description of reqd hw and sw components,test
tool,test environment,test tool data. 2.Testing
methods,type,model,techniques. 3.Functional and technical
req of applcn.this information cums frm req,change
req,functional design doc. 4. Descrpn of
roles&responsibilities of resources.this information is
gathered frm man-hours and schedules.
Outputs :1. An approved and signed off test strategy
doc,test plan,including testcases. 2.Testing issues
requiring solutions.
