Explain the STLC?

STLC refers to Software Testing Life Cycle. This initiates
from the Requirements phase and ends with closing the bugs.
Steps in STLC are
1)Requirements Gathering
2)Preparing the Test Strategy
3)Preparing the Test Plan
3)Preparing the Test Cases
4)Executing the test cases
5)Logging the Bugs in the Bug tracking tool
6)Retesting and closing the defects
7)Bugs maintainance.
The Difference between STLC and SDLC is when STLC includes
all the testing activities SDLC includes both the testing
and the development activities.
