i have attended h1b on 23rd of this month at chennai
consulate.VO gave me 221(g) blue form and asked me to drop
all the docs which she was ticked.my problem is i didn't
kept the copies of ds-156,157,.....i tried to download from
vfs site.but while providing the information i got invalid
mother's name even i entered it correctly.what i have to
do?how can i get these documents.please help me.

See, while you are entering your mother's name, just try
with caps lock on and off...ie.., with small letters and
capital letters....it should work fine for you with either
one method

Hi All, I got H1B in the year 2008 and i have been there for 5 months and had my SSN and DL and i didnt hold any paystrubs and due to market down fall i was back to india and now am i eligible to apply in the same cap or need to go through fresh H1B filing. HI Guys.My H1B visa petition got approved for the year 2008- 2009. I am filling the application form consulte intervew. the questions currently i am working X company and i have applied for H1 visa through Y company. but before this i have applied for L1 visa through X company and when it comes to RFE the X company has withdrawn the petition from the USCIS. So now while filling DS-156 there are questions like 1. is u r visa cancelled or revoked before? 2. Is any other has applied for Immigrant visa on behalf of you before? so what answers i have to give for above questions since my X company withdrawn L1 visa petition from USCIS. if i say NO/YES what will be the problem. pls answer if anybody experienced this.
Hi All, I have attended for H1B yesterday in chennai consulate. Interviewer was not happy with the project desc and asked for more documents mostly abt company profile and complete desc.she asked me to drop them in the drop box in hyderabad consulate.but she said not to drop the passport. can anyone let me know what happens next. shall i consider it as lost as she didnt asked for passport? or after checking the documents will i be asked to appear again if she is ok with the docs? or how is it gonna be? I completed my graduation in 2001 and joined for my post graduation in 2002. So i have 1 year gap during this period. During this period i attend some graphics courses and joined classes to crack my post graduation entrance test. Will this create any problem for the interview.I have the certificates for the graphics classes that i attended. IF the officer asks me then what should be the response?
