You cannot have two visas at the same time. If you apply
for B1 visa, other valid visa will immediately be cancelled
(they will put a stamp "CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE" on
your existing visa stamp in your passport). If you want to
retain your H1 visa, never apply for any other type of visa
until your existing visa expires.

But My spouse is in USA with B1 visa, she will be back shortly. what can i say about my wife if the officer asked any question ( dou you have any immediate realtion in USA .. like)? Kindly help me.

Hi, I am a BCom Graduate from Bangalore University, passed outin the year 2000. I have had arrears in my subjects while studying right from 1st, 2nd & 3rd year and few subjects a single digit marks. Now I have around 11years of IT experience as IT Manager. Apparently, I have a chance to go to the USA on H1B Visa(yet to get the letter in hand). Now my question is will the US consulate reject my stamping just because I have failed mark sheets though I got it cleared later? Can someone answer?? Thanks

Hi All, I got H1B in the year 2008 and i have been there for 5 months and had my SSN and DL and i didnt hold any paystrubs and due to market down fall i was back to india and now am i eligible to apply in the same cap or need to go through fresh H1B filing. Hi I am working with XYZ company and the employer is appilying for H1B visa.I have lost the tax filed returns form ITR form of 2009-2010 assessment year but I ahev the form 16 where the tax payable amount is zero there .I ahve the cheque which I got 160 Rs as the refund amount .Will it be a hurdle for my H1B visa stamping.
