NGR(Neutral Ground Resistor) which is connected at the star
point of an alternator or a tranformer..
There two consideration to Select NGR
1) Plant capacity
2) Current carrieng capacity
If any unbalance current occures in any of the phases
that surplus current will alowed to flow through the NGR,
where in Neutral current will suuprssed so that alternator
winding will be in safe,

i have faced a problem in ro plant grunfos make bm30type pump it is 22kw pump. We start this pump using siemens 3rw 4423-ibc44, 30kw softstarter but this soft starter will frequently failier so we planed to change dol starter. So pls tell anybudy its possible or not.
