what is the effect of power factor to (a) voltage (b)
transformers (c) generators (d)transmission lines
Answer Posted / pravesh
the effect on voltage is that if the p.f is more less
voltage is reuired and the regulation will be minimumbut
voltage level is always constant.
transformer the efficincy will be more
in generator the loading will be less.
transmission line s if p.f is more the losses will be less
as comparision to low power factor.
