when we increase load , current drawn from source also
increases why ?

Answer Posted / baswaraj

Additional load is connected in parallel to the existing
load. The parallel combination always reduces the
equivelent impedance. Hence the current is increases.

Simple Example: let suppose a 10 ohm resistance is
connected to the 10 V battery then the current drawn by the
load will be 1 Amp. Now increase the load, let us suppose
additional 10 Ohm resistance is added into parallel. The
total resistance will be 5 Ohm of this parallel combination
and the current flow from the battery terminals will be 2
Amp, hence we can say on increasing load current drawn by
the load increases.
