Ans)i dont understand the question.ALE is used to transfer
the data from one client to another.what is need to transfer
the data into the same client.Already data will be
there.then why should we transfer.

BDC CALL TRANSACTION carry on synchronous processing and
update the database both synchronously and
asynchronously,where session method carry on asynchoronous
processing and update the database synchrousnously.I want
to know the meaning of synchronous and asynchronous
processing and also the meaning of synchronous and
asynchronous database update.

Answer

synchronous means one after the other.
Asynchronous is whole at a time.

Synchronous processing means processing the transactions(i.e
records) one by one.i mean a transaction is done if and only
if the previous transaction is completed.

Synchronous Update means after processing of transactions
records are stored into the database synchronously.I mean if
one transaction is processed it is immediately updated to
database.

Asynchronous processing means processing the transactions
all at a time.
Asynchronous update means updating the database with all the
records at a time. i.e not one by one

in session method all the transactions are processed and
kept in session.the session is then processed and records
are updated to database one by one.

In ALV Reports,the output is displayed by using the function
module:
REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY or REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY
Input for the above function modules is
program name and fieldcatalog and data internal table.

You can edit the records in the ouput list by using EDIT =
'X' option in the field catalog.

while filling the field catalog we have to consider the
field EDIT = 'X'.

But this is used for print purpose only we cannot save into
database.
