Question is why is it so....? so many books tell the answer
that subtraction can be possible
Here question is why is it so?

Cause: Pointer values cannot be added, multiplied, or
divided. The only arithmetic operation permitted with
pointers is subtraction.
Action: Recode to avoid this error message.
