ORA-01249: archiving not allowed in a clone database

Cause: Attempting to archive an online redo log or enable
archiving for a clone database.
Action: Do not attempt to archive from a clone. The archive
log destination could easily be the same as the primary
database destroying its archived logs. If archiving is
needed then recreate database as not a clone.
