ORA-38742: Flashback log file has incorrect log reset status.
Answer / guest
Cause: The flashback database log file header had log reset
data that was different than the control file. The log was
probably an incorrectly restored backup. Flashback database
logs cannot be backed up.
Action: If you are doing a FLASHBACK DATABASE, then the
flashback cannot be performed because of the corrupted log.
A restore and an incomplete recovery must be performed instead.
