Cause: Some problem in communicating with a standby database
causes the log transport to fail.
Action: Check the Data Guard broker log and Oracle Alert log
for further details. Query the LogXptStatus property to see
the error message.

if you face this error just do the following steps
1.DGMGRL /
2.enable site 'standbydbname'
3.enable site 'primarydbname'
above step follow in 10g
