To copy and paste with formatting in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:
1. Select the content you want to copy.
2. Press `Ctrl+C` to copy the content.
3. Go to the location where you want to paste the content.
4. Press `Ctrl+V`. To maintain the formatting, make sure that 'Paste Options' in your 'Paste' dropdown menu is set to 'Keep Text Only' or 'Keep Source Formatting', depending on whether you only want to keep the text format or the entire format.
