How do I remove unwanted lines in word?..

To remove unwanted lines in Word, select the line you want to delete. Go to Home tab > Line Spacing > Line Spacing Options > Uncheck 'Show Document Grid'. If you only want to remove gridlines and not paragraph spacing, go to Paragraph Spacing > Custom Paragraph Formatting and set both before and after values to zero.
