To shift cells in Excel, follow these steps:
1. Select the cells you want to move.
2. Right-click and select 'Cut' or press Ctrl+X.
3. Click on the destination cell where you want to paste the shifted cells.
4. Right-click and select 'Paste' or press Ctrl+V.
