To create a custom border in Word, select the object you want to apply the custom border to. Go to the 'Page Layout' tab and click on 'Border' in the 'Drawing Tools - Format' group. In the 'Border Style' section, choose the style you prefer or create your own by selecting 'Custom'. You can adjust the width, color, dash type, and arrowheads as desired.
