How do I run joomla locally?
Answer / Manish Kumar Jha
To run Joomla locally, you'll need a server environment. You can use XAMPP which is an easy-to-install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP, and other tools. After installing XAMPP, download the latest version of Joomla from the official website (https://www.joomla.org/download.html). Extract the downloaded file and copy the joomla folder to your xampp htdocs directory. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost/foldernamethatyoucopiedthejoomlafolderto (e.g., http://localhost/joomla). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
