How do I reset my microsoft word settings?
Answer / Ankur Atree
To reset Microsoft Word settings, you can use a template file called 'Normal.dotm'. Here's how:
1. Close Microsoft Word if it is open.
2. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. Type `%appdata%MicrosoftTemplates` and press Enter.
3. Find the Normal template file (it may be hidden). To view hidden files, click 'View' > 'File explorer options' > 'View' tab > check 'Hidden items'.
4. Copy the Normal template file and paste it in a safe location, such as your Desktop.
5. Delete the original Normal template file from the Templates folder.
6. Start Microsoft Word and it will automatically create a new Normal template based on default settings.
