In Microsoft Word, you can insert a field code by following these steps: 1. Click and highlight the location where you want to insert the field code. 2. Press 'ALT + F11' on your keyboard to open Field dialog box. Alternatively, right-click and select 'Fields' from the context menu. 3. In the Field dialog box, select the desired field type from the list (e.g., Date, Page Numbers, etc.). 4. Click 'OK'. The field code will be inserted at the cursor location.
