How can we use vlookup in excel?
Answer / Prem Singh
To use VLOOKUP in Excel, you should follow this syntax: VLOOKUP(value, table_array, col_index_num, [range_lookup]) where value is the lookup value, table_array is the range that contains the lookup values (in the leftmost column), col_index_num is the column number in the table_array that contains the desired result, and range_lookup determines if an approximate match is acceptable or not. If set to TRUE, VLOOKUP returns the closest match below the lookup value (approximate match). If set to FALSE (the default value), VLOOKUP returns the exact match.
