How does gossip protocol help in failure detection?
Answer / Putul Kumar
Gossip Protocol helps in failure detection by allowing nodes to share their status and changes with other nodes in the cluster. When a node fails, it becomes unreachable for its peers, and eventually, other nodes will detect the failure because they don't receive updates from that node for some time, thus triggering failure recovery mechanisms.
