Explain the difference between mage::getsingleton() and mage::getmodel() in magento?

Explain the difference between mage::getsingleton() and mage::getmodel() in magento?..

Answer / Nimmi Gupta

In Magento, both mage::getSingleton() and mage::getModel() are used to retrieve models. The main difference lies in their behavior:n1) mage::getSingleton(): This method returns a single instance of the requested model. If the instance already exists, it is returned; otherwise, it creates a new instance and stores it for future use.n2) mage::getModel(): This method always returns a new instance of the requested model. It does not store instances.
