What is the difference between roles and endpoints?
Answer / Narendra Pal Singh
In AWS, IAM Roles are identity entities that define a set of permissions for an AWS service or an IAM user. An Endpoint, on the other hand, is an address used to communicate with an AWS service. An endpoint provides the necessary information (such as region and service) to establish a connection between your application and the AWS service.
