Distinguish between git fetch and git pull?
Answer / Sandeep Vimal
Git fetch updates your local repository with remote changes, but it does not merge those changes into your current branch. It only makes the fetched data available for further actions like merging or cherry-picking.nnOn the other hand, Git pull performs both fetch and merge operations in one command. It fetches the remote branches and immediately merges them into the currently checked-out branch.
